A LOT OF MUSCLE NEEDED TO WIN THE HUSSLE
Scarboro, ON (May 8, 2017) – After a couple stops last week in the GTA west, The Tour made its way back to the city’s east end, for The TaylorMade Tussle, at the iconic and majestic Scarboro Golf & Country Club. A world class venue that prides itself on exceptional conditions, prime location and impeccable service, steeped in history, dating back to 1912. This A.W. Tillinghast golf course always promises to entertain and to bring out the best in golf enthusiasts.
This week Michael Alderman would lead the way in Champ Flight, carding a sizzling round of 73 putting space between he and second place finisher Ryan Taylor and Greg Pedersen locking up third place after being tied with three others at 87.
In A Flight, there was a changing of the guard with the Corvese brothers battling it out and this week would see Chris on top shooting 79 and brother Michael one stroke back with 80 and Oskars Pavasars sneaking in to capture third spot.
B Flight was led by Jake Naccarato firing a sizzling 83, being watched closely by Derek Peters posting 85 and Frank O'Brien snapping a two way tie for third shooting 86.
Bob Sikorski would take the stage for the C Flight this week, shooting 93. Long time Tour member Jack Leong chased into second place posting 95 and Brian Nash would be only one back carding 96 to own third place.
The Seniors' Flight would once again see Todd Stones on top of the leader board, posting a dandy score of 80. Not to be outdone, Greg Mackenzie would post 83 for second place. David Johnson took the lead for the net competition, scoring a net 73. Robert Sansone was close behind with a net 74.
Margaret Crawley would claim her first victory of this young Tour season, posting net 70 to claim the top spot in the Women's Flight.
