Dear Friends,
Most of Davis Street families who already cannot afford groceries, utilities, childcare, medical care, let alone school supplies for their children, have been majorly impacted by the repercussions of COVID-19. Our families are experiencing economic hardships through job loss, home loss, and now have less or no income for food or supplies to support their children. With Shelter-in-Place still active and schools opening back up in Fall, our families who already are in-need now have the added stressor and are incapable of affording school supplies for their children in the new school year. Please help us provide our children with the tools and supplies they need to succeed academically, so our parents do not have to choose between school supplies and food for their families.
