From the CEO
April 16, 2020
Dear friends,

April is National Stress Awareness Month. As you may know, various key stressors are intensified amid this global pandemic, a few being the need or lack of medical attention, access to mental health services, food insecurities, and child care. Over this past month, we have seen an immense increase of individuals in need of these services impacted by Shelter-in-Place and COVID-19.

Davis Street is working diligently to safely provide much-needed services to the influx of those most vulnerable. Since the shelter in place, we have created new onsite safety protocols, begun providing telehealth visits, and implemented a drive-through grocery bag pick-up and drop-off for at-risk clients. Davis Street's life long mission is to provide year-round safety-net services to those in need, and during these heightened stressful times, it is imperative that our families continue to receive services.

Please make sure to take time for yourself and loved ones to practice strategies for positive mental health. Visit the CDC's helpful stress-reducing tips or please call (510)347-4620 x 400 for more information on our telehealth patient services.
