Issue 11
Dear Friends,

As we bring in the end of May, it is important to address Mental Health Awareness Month. During Shelter-in-place, we have become hyper-aware of the many challenges that can take negative tolls on our mental health, and although those stressors have intensified amidst the pandemic, we must take care of our mental health. Visit the CDC's helpful  stress-reducing tips, or please call (510) 347-4620 x 400 for more information on our Behavioral Health and Counseling Telehealth patient services. Please make sure to take time for yourself and loved ones to practice strategies for positive mental health.

My heart is touched by the stories shared with me amidst this pandemic with kind words of support. Hearing how these hardships shifted individuals present paths to now helping those most vulnerable from COVID-19 has reminded me of two things; that we strive for the same mission, to help those less fortunate, and as a community, we are stronger together.

From my heart to yours,

Rose Padilla Johnson
