To the Cambridge Disability Community and Friends:

The Cambridge Commission for Persons with Disabilities (CCPD) wants to make sure that you are getting accurate and useful information on what the City of Cambridge is doing about COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Here are some important things you should know:

  • Please check www.cambridgema.gov/covid19 every day for updated information on the City’s response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and impacts related to the Cambridge community. You can also find contact information for the Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) at that site, which is updated several times a day.

  • To receive City of Cambridge email updates related to COVID-19, sign up for the COVID-19 newsletter

  • To help slow the spread of COVID-19, the City of Cambridge:

  • Closed all City buildings until further notice, except for the main lobbies of the Cambridge Police Department at 125 6th St. and the Central Square Substation, which will remain open to the public.

  • Has cancelled all City events and programs until further notice.

  • Posted a list of all City services that you can complete online.

  • Is still operating all emergency services, such as Police, Fire, and the 9-1-1 Center.
  • If you have questions or concerns related to your health, call the Massachusetts COVID-19 Information Line at 2-1-1. If the Information Line cannot answer your questions, email CPHD or leave a message on the CPHD COVID-19 phone line at 617-665-3648.
  • If you have general questions about City of Cambridge operations or services, they should be directed to 311@cambridgema.gov or by dialing 3-1-1. Please note: due to limited staff capacity, there may be a delay in response.

  • As always, in the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1. (Call if you can; text if you can’t).
