Dear Friends,
We hope this message finds you well! We would like to take a moment to speak with you about
Aristoi Classical Academy. We first enrolled all five of our children in Aristoi in the fall of 2016.
After bouncing our children around from mainstream public school, to homeschool, to
homeschool dual credit programs, Aristoi became an academic home to our five children. The
rigorous academics that drew us in have continued to provide an education that has served
each of them well in college and beyond. We now have three Aristoi graduates (Gabriel and
Emma in 2019, Will in 2022) and David and Sofi will graduate this May.
Throughout our nine years at the school, we have joyfully given our time and our money to
Aristoi because of our wholehearted belief in its mission, vision, and philosophy. And today, we
are asking you to join us in our financial support of Aristoi Classical Academy.
You know that Aristoi is a tuition-free public charter school. But did you know, in Texas, public
charter schools receive, on average, $1,278 less per student annually compared to traditionally
funded public ISDs? This equates to a deficit of over $2 million dollars per year for Aristoi. This
is seen in teacher pay gaps, insufficient facilities, etc. This year our goal is to bridge the gap for
235 students.
Gerald and I are asking you to join us in supporting this goal by sponsoring or attending the
gala, inviting friends to attend, donating to the raffle, silent or live auctions, or making a flat
donation to help us reach it. Please visit this link and consider joining us in providing students
with an academically challenging Classical Liberal Arts education that encourages them to
develop a passion for learning and give them the means to become responsible citizens of
virtuous character.
Sincerely,
Gerald and Paula Aguirre
