Letter to the Church
"To the Saints who are ... faithful in Christ Jesus ..." ~Ephesians 1.1b
On Sunday we begin a NEW sermon series: Chosen! We will be opening Paul's Letter to the Ephesians and discovering that it is more than just a letter to a church long ago. It is a letter written for all God's people today. We will be opening up the first half of this letter where Paul paints an incredible picture and lays an incredible foundation of what God, in Christ, has done for us and for all of creation. Together we will ask the question: What does this mean for us and our life together?
So, knowing that you are CHOSEN, because you are:
- What are you going to do about it?
- How are you going to live your daily life knowing this to be true?
- Consider making one change to more fully live into your identity as a Child of God.
Fun fact: There is some scholarly debate as to whom the letter was originally intended (it seems to have been composed as a circular letter intended to be passed around to a group of churches) and who actually penned the note (Paul or a close follower and companion of Paul's). No matter to whom or who- the letter holds a powerful message for us today.
PS: Join me Monday mornings at 7am for BREW as we gather at Key's Cafe & Bakery in Forest Lake to more fully engage in the message and the text. All are invited- come any time!!

Youth Events & Opportunities
Luther Dell Camp - July 19-24
Youth Camp (have completed grades 4-8) It's more than a just a drive down a 5-mile dirt road...so much more than a lake, a campfire, and a carpetball table. It's a place to be a kid and be with friends. It's a place to open your eyes and look for Jesus all around you. It's a place to be washed over with wonder when you take a break from sprinting around the game fields and slow down long enough to catch a glimpse of God with your heart. Join us for a week where you and your friends can grow together as friends and in faith. We are a relational program that spends time getting to know each camper. We have a week-long competition called Luther Dell Olympics and play an all-camp game during the evening. By the end of the week, you won't want to leave!
Roots Camp (have completed grades 9-12) As senior high students, you are facing the challenges of high school and preparing for what is next in your lives. This is your chance to explore where your heart is rooted. The Roots program is designed to give you opportunity to grow in faith through leading worship, service to camp and service to the local community and is full of games, food, and beautiful sunsets. Camp is a great place to grow in your faith.
