Juniors Build Sukkahs For The Elderly
On Thursday, Juniors braved the rain and joined the Jewish Home Family's Safely@Home program and built sukkahs for those who were unable to build their own in the New Jersey Jewish community. Talmidim enjoyed participating in this program, which enables them to help community members fulfill this important mitzvah. The initiative is part of our chessed program, which partners with local organizations to help Jewish communities in the tri-state area. We have been privileged to work with the Jewish Home Family for many years and were the only high school to be honored during the organization’s awards ceremony over the summer for devoting more than 100 hours of service to the Safely@Home program. This is one of the many chessed opportunities we offer throughout the year, which instills the value of giving back within our talmidim and encourages them to continue our commitment to chessed in their daily lives.

YU Rosh Yeshiva Enhances Our Aseres Yemei Teshuva Tefillos
On Thursday, our talmidim were zoche to have their Aseres Yemei Teshuva teffilos enhanced by the presence of YU Rosh Yeshiva Rav Herschel Reichman, who joined our Shacharis minyan. Rav Reichman, along with MTA and YU Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Michael Taubes, led talmidim in an inspiring Shacharis and Selichos, which truly added meaning to Aseres Yemei Teshuva for our talmidim. The constant presence and involvement of YU Roshei Yeshiva in our programming is just one of the many advantages that our talmidim have the privilege of experiencing on a daily basis.
