Hey there village volunteers!

We’re so excited to invite you back for our June Volunteer Day at Arthur’s Acres!

Thank you to everyone who showed up last month in spite of the rain. We worked hard, got a lot accomplished, and made the day really special. Now we’re keeping the momentum going with another hands-on day at the sanctuary.

Join us on Saturday, June 13 as we tackle a few summer projects around the sanctuary, including clearing rocks and debris from our Special Care Pasture so our residents can safely graze all summer long. It’s one of those behind-the-scenes projects that makes a big difference for the animals who call that area home.

After the work is done, we’ll gather for an Italian summer-themed vegan potluck lunch—think pasta salad, bruschetta, focaccia, fresh fruit, grilled veggies, antipasto-style platters, lemony desserts, and all the bright, garden-inspired goodness of summer.

Volunteer Days are such a meaningful way to support the sanctuary, connect with fellow animal lovers, and spend time making a real difference for the residents.

Please RSVP for Volunteer Day below and reply to this email to let us know if:

  • You’re bringing a friend, so we can make sure they complete the waiver
  • You’d like to bring a vegan dish to share for lunch

Come ready to roll up your sleeves, support the pigs, and help us start the season strong. We can’t wait to see you!
