Junior Class Mass With Archbishop

On March 19, our Provet class of 2025 celebrated the Solemnity of St. Joseph during a mass with Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller at St. Rose of Lima Church. Our Provets came together as one in faith with 7 other high schools from the San Antonio Archdiocese. We are proud of our junior class and wish them luck and continued blessings this school year and beyond.

Academics

Earlier this week students in Mrs. Norris’ math classes used their art skills to celebrate international pi day.

Eighth grade pre-algebra students traced, cut and pasted paper to create tessellations/tiling artwork. These served as a background for the symbols of pi which were created by eighth and ninth graders in Algebra 1 and eleventh and twelfth graders in Algebraic Reasoning. Bringing these pieces together created beautiful artwork for the classroom.

Combining their art skills with math, allows our students to use their creativity while also learning about key algebra concepts.
