A Focus on our Core Value - Integrity

In the same way, encourage the young men (and women) to live wisely. And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the INTEGRITY and seriousness of your teaching. Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us. -Titus 2:6-8 NLT

This month our focus in on our core value Integrity. Assistant Principal, Daniele Delgado, led our Academic Council through some reflection in order to prepare the academic leaders and our teachers to share this core value with our students in the coming weeks.

  • In what ways can we lead by example?
  • What can we do to “reflect integrity and seriousness”?
  • What will our reward be if we practice integrity?

Weekly Mass schedule for the Fall Semester:

  • 10/19 Fr. Ricardo Ramirez - Special blessing of Seniors and Retreat team
  • 11/9 Fr. Jim Schellenberg
  • 11/16 Fr. Ricardo Ramirez
  • 11/30 Fr. Jim Schellenberg
  • 12/14 Fr. John Mefrige

Ms. Delgado shares this prayer for our school community:

Heavenly Father, We ask for your grace and peace. We accept the call to lead with integrity and truth. We ask for your guidance in difficult situations. We purpose to invite the Holy Spirit to lead through us. May all of our decisions be made with your direction. We are thankful for the opportunity to be an example of Jesus to our students and parents. May we continue to complete the task you have set before us. We look forward to good reports from parents and students. In all things, to you be the glory.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Praised and Blessed be Divine Providence, Now and Forever.

Amen

Book Fair supports the Providence Library

With your support at the Providence Scholastic Book Fair, not only were our students able to take home some great new books, but the library was also able to add 118 new books to our collection and earn $1007.96 in Scholastic Dollars and $300 in cash to help buy books and supplies for the library.

That is not including the 5 additional books that were purchased from the library wish list, nor the additional titles that teachers were gifted for their classroom libraries. Overall, this year's book fair was a great success thanks to you!

Thank you, Ms. Baker, our PCS Librarian for coordinating this event on campus.
