We have had a busy few months! From exciting improvements at the Rescue to generous donations, special partnerships, and a little Hollywood magic, there has been so much happening behind the scenes.

We wanted to take a moment to share some updates with our community and, as always, thank you for being part of everything we do. None of this would be possible without you!

Remember our dishwasher campaign? Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to raise the funds we needed, purchase our new dishwasher, and get it installed in no time!

The difference has been incredible. Our workload is lighter, our dishes are cleaner, and we are using energy and supplies more efficiently. It may seem like a small change, but when you care for so many pets every day, improvements like this make a real difference in our daily operations.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us reach our goal so quickly. You made this possible, and we are so grateful!

At our Winter's Tail Gala in February, we asked our Paws Crossed family to help us prepare our surgery room to begin operating, and you stepped up in a big way!

We have received a wonderful donation of surgical equipment and supplies, and everything is now in house. We are currently working on getting all of the machines serviced and ready to go. There are still a few more items we need to purchase, but we are making meaningful progress toward bringing this important capability to our Rescue.

We are so excited about what lies ahead and can't wait to share more updates as we get closer to making this vision a reality!!

Thank you to everyone helping us take this important step forward!

Earlier this month, we welcomed our annual Blue Buffalo food delivery, and it was a BIG one! Some of you may have already seen the photos and videos on our social media.

Each year, we are incredibly fortunate to receive a tractor-trailer full of dog and cat food through Blue Buffalo's Home for the Holidays campaign. We then help distribute this generous donation to shelters and rescues throughout the Northeast, helping pets in need far beyond our own walls.

This year, nearly 43,000 pounds of Blue Buffalo food was distributed to more than 20 shelters and rescues!

We are so grateful to Blue Buffalo for this incredible partnership and to our good friends at Helen Woodward Animal Center for helping make this lifesaving delivery possible. Together, we can make a difference for so many more pets and the organizations working tirelessly to care for them.

We were thrilled to partner with Banfield Pet Hospital to host a free vaccine clinic for our community! Thanks to this wonderful partnership, we were able to provide services to 58 community pets, helping their families access important preventive care.

Access to veterinary care is essential to keeping pets healthy and helping them remain in the loving homes they deserve. We are so grateful to the team at Banfield Pet Hospital for joining us in making this possible and for helping us support pets and their families throughout our community.

This is what community is all about!

September brought one of our favorite days of the year! We celebrated our 11th Annual Paws Crossed Day and 6th Annual 5K, bringing together our Paws Crossed family for a wonderful day filled with community, connection, and a shared love for pets.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out to participate, cheer on our runners, visit our vendors, volunteer, and help make the day such a success. Events like these remind us just how special our community is and how much we can accomplish when we come together for a cause we believe in.

Thank you for celebrating with us! We already can't wait to do it all again next year!

We had the absolute joy and honor of participating in a special segment with The Dodo featuring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in advance of the premiere of Practical Magic 2!

We brought along a puppy and a kitten for the occasion, and Sandra and Nicole answered questions, played games, and did a wonderful job helping spread the word about pet adoption. It was such a fun experience, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to share our mission with an even wider audience!

If you haven't seen the segment yet, be sure to check out the video HERE for a little Hollywood magic and some very adorable faces!

Somehow, the holiday season is right around the corner, and with it comes one of our most important fundraising moments of the year!

December 1 marks the start of our end-of-year giving season, beginning with GivingTuesday. This is a special time for our community to come together in support of the pets who depend on us every single day!

We will be sharing more about our end-of-year campaign soon, so keep an eye on your inbox and follow us on social media for updates. We can't wait to share what's ahead!
