“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts."
-- Eleanor Roosevelt

This weekly update is designed to offer you timely information regarding our campus, our policies, and our dedication to keeping our residents and staff healthy. We hope we can alleviate some of the stress and anxiety you may be feeling by assuring you that, despite this “new” normal, your loved ones continue to receive comprehensive, holistic care.
Our First Virtual Seder
A big, heartfelt thanks to our partners at Sodexo and Connected Living for helping us celebrate our very first virtual Seder. Rabbi Evan Shore kindly created a video that we streamed for our residents.
Thank you to the always-generous   Debbie and Don Shulman for the disposable seder plates.
With Love From.....
Each week we're featuring a heartfelt message from one of our residents to let family and friends know that even during this difficult time - love and hope will continue to keep us connected. A big thank you t o our fantastic activities team for supplying encouragement (and glitter) to keep our residents' creativity flowing.
Community Resources
The current coronavirus situation has us all stressed and stretched in many ways. Do you need help from a community volunteer? Would you like to offer help to someone who needs it?

In either case, take the Jewish Federation of Central New York's survey and the team at S yracuse Jewish Family Service (SJFS) will match you with the right person to help with your need or offer. You can also reach SJFS by email or by phone at: 315-446-9111, ext. 226 or 3 15-454-2006.
Menorah Park: Staff In Focus

Every day our dedicated staff members work tirelessly to ensure our residents are well cared for and safe.

Beauty in The Time of COVID
Before COVID, a weekly or monthly trip to the salon was one of the highlights for our residents. But as many of us are experiencing in the “new” normal, it can be a challenge to keep a positive attitude when you feel like you don't look your best. Enter Alyse Reeves, Menorah Park's hairdresser. Putting her shears and rollers to work, Alyse doesn't just lift hair, she's lifting spirits!  Thank you, Alyse, for making our residents look and feel beautiful!

Donate the Gift of Lovingkindness
In this time of the COVID-19 crisis, there has been an overwhelming need for the delivery of in-home meals and human service. The increasing numbers of hungry, home-bound and socially-distanced elders can’t come to us: won’t you help us go to them with food and a friendly check-in from our nurturing community?
