"
Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less."
Marie Curie

The Oaks at Menorah Park
We recognize that isolation and a lack of communal activities can have negative effects on one’s physical and mental well-being. To address that, we have begun to introduce some socially-distanced discussions and relaxation exercises for small groups for our residents at the Oaks.
From online concerts and gallery viewings to discussions of current events and personal perspectives on this pandemic, thank you to
SJFS Executive Director
Judith Huober, and SJFS staff member, Jancy Ball, for providing these much-needed intellectual and emotional outlets for our residents
.

Each year, Menorah Park of CNY gathers together to honor those who shine brightly on our campus. This year,
EVERYONE
at Menorah Park is a Shining Star! To safeguard everyone’s health and well-being, Shining Stars 2020 will stay-at-home!

Celebrating Nursing Home Week!
Especially amidst the current crisis, it's even more important to celebrate our dedicated staff for all they do for our residents! Highlights of the week were Carvel ice cream sundaes, Taco Tuesday, and our MP swag bags! Thank you to Menorah Park leadership and our food services partner, Sodexo, for making this week extra special

Seeking Classic Movies
There’s nothing better than a bit of the ol' soft shoe or the "rat-a-tat-tat" from a gangster's gat to escape the challenging times we’re living in, especially for our residents. We are currently seeking donations of DVD (no Blu-Ray, please) and VHS copies of movies from Hollywood’s Golden Era (1920s -1960’s) for our residents' viewing. Please contact Judith Huober at
