Dear McIntosh Partner and Friend,
I joined McIntosh as an intern in 1985, and from that very first day, I felt a profound connection to the people, the products, and the spirit of innovation that have always defined this company. Over the years, it has been a true privilege to help guide McIntosh on our journey to becoming one of the world’s most respected and iconic audio brands. Together, we’ve built something remarkable – a legacy rooted in craftsmanship, uncompromising sound, and enduring relationships within our community.
As we approach the one-year anniversary of Bose’s acquisition, I have made the decision together with the Bose team to step down as President of McIntosh in November. This is not a decision I take lightly, but it is one I make with immense pride for all that we have created together. I am incredibly grateful for the trust, loyalty, and passion that you, our partners, have shown throughout this journey.
I am excited for what lies ahead, and I have every confidence that McIntosh will continue to flourish within the Bose family, powered by the values and vision we share. Jim Mollica, President of Luxury Consumer Audio at Bose – and someone many of you may already know – will be leading the brand into its next chapter. I look forward to supporting Jim and the team as McIntosh continues to innovate and inspire. While my daily role will wind down at the end of November, I am in discussions with Bose about staying on in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition and to help preserve the heart and soul of the brand we’ve all worked so hard to build.
