It is after much prayer, consideration, time, and confirmation that God has orchestrated a new opportunity for Katherine and I and has called us to my home church, First Baptist Church of Moore, to be their new Worship and Music Pastor. My last Sunday leading worship at Trinity will be Sunday, December 17th.
Katherine and I were not looking for another place to serve, but God had something else in mind and we've seen his hand in this all the way through the process. It is bittersweet for Katherine and I. We are excited about this next step in our lives, but we are sad to say goodbye to all the people that have become a part of our family here at Trinity.
Four and a half years ago, you took me in to your church family like a son and Trinity will always have a place in my heart. This was my first full-time ministry position, where I was licensed and ordained in the ministry, where I purchased my first house, where I found Watson, and most important; where I met the love of my life and my soul mate! You've always supported my new ideas in ministry and were patient with me when I've missed the mark and let me learn from my own mistakes. For the rest of my life, I will always cherish the time I've had the privilege of being your Minister of Worship and Creative Arts! It has truly been an honor!
In Christ Alone,

P.S. - This does not affect the Mount Pleasant Christmas Festival. It's still going to be the best yet and we are anticipating God to move in an awesome way to spread the Gospel to our community on December 3rd!
