Dear Members,
Another quick update for you on the Member survey results. One of the items we heard was the need for improved Member service. We are committed to providing a unique menu offering at Phil’s bar that will also be available in the Member Lounge (changes there too, see below!). They will include Member only pricing of smaller food items that fit with the golf and bar experience. You can see an example of what the menu might look like in the Pro Shop. In addition, we are developing this winter a Member Only menu available on weekends that can be utilized at the Fox & Turtle restaurant that will create a unique and distinct service from the regular public. It will be a limited menu (but still have the extensive F&T normal offerings) of Member favorites and special Member pricing. This will be accompanied by an enhanced service level that complements the Membership experience. We are working out the details, but wanted to share our current thinking on that.
If you happened to take a look at the sample Phil’s Bar menu in the Pro Shop, you will see it is attached to the Proposed Member Lounge Idea Board. This is a vision board, not final selections, but will give you an idea of the elevated décor and experience we envision for that space. We are committed to the above mentioned service and menu enhancements, but want to create a space conducive to spending more time in the Member’s Lounge. Our hope is to create a space unique to the Membership experience and environment that feels like a home away from home. We would like to invite Members to join us in this enhancement and will bring a specific proposal to membership for a vote to determine if we are aligned in the vision for this space. The Club is committed to a significant investment in that space. Be on the lookout for the details, but in the meantime, attached is a copy of the vision board. Reminder, this is not final selections nor is it drawn to scale!
Lastly, thank you for those of you who volunteered on the Golf Course committee, we will make final selections on that and reach out to you by next week to get started.
