We believe the best way to strengthen our work is to listen closely to the people living it every day. That’s why we recently asked participants across our centers to share their experiences with us, and 329 of you responded. We’re deeply grateful for your honesty and your time.
Here’s what we learned:
You feel supported – You rated the quality of our programs, the support of our staff, and the welcoming environment between 4.75 and 4.77 out of 5.
You also shared ways we can grow – from clearer communication to tech access, from more evening hours to youth and senior-focused programs.
And here’s how we’re responding:
Expanded hours across all three of our recovery community centers
Improved technology access, including stronger Wi-Fi, new community workstations, and Digital Navigation support for things like online forms, benefit applications, job tools, and more
Simple, clear communication, with updated newsletters, social media, and coming soon, opt-in email/text alerts
Workshops and printed/digital guides on digital safety, passwords, and tech basics in both English and Spanish
Age-inclusive programming designed specifically for teens and older adults
Enhanced privacy protections on shared equipment, with clear Tech Use Guidelines and staff support
