Dear Prevention,
Raising children in today’s digital world is a challenge many of us are navigating together.
As a parent, I see it firsthand.
My four-year-old son, born during the COVID pandemic, initially spent quite a bit of time on his tablet—like so many kids who found comfort in screens during those isolating days.
But lately...I’ve noticed a beautiful shift.
He’s becoming less interested in his tablet as he dives into new passions, like music and dance, exploring the world around him in ways that bring him joy beyond the screen.
At Prevention Links, we know that fostering resilience in children means helping them pursue their interests and build relationships with peers and trusted adults.
Our programs, such as LifeSkills and Strengthening Families, offer kids and their families the tools to build emotional resilience and balance, equipping them to navigate today’s pressures with confidence and connection. And with workshops on mental health and digital balance, we’re helping kids embrace technology without letting it define their lives.
Additionally, our Family Success Centers offer a welcoming, supportive space where families can come together, access resources, and connect with others who understand their challenges.
From parenting workshops to community activities, the centers provide families with opportunities to explore new interests and skills together.
Thank you for supporting our mission to help kids grow up with a sense of inner strength and purpose. Together, we can guide them toward a life filled with real connections, joyful passions, and lasting resilience.
