Dear Prevention,
Exciting news for my art lovers out there!
Prevention Links has the honor of being one of the featured organizations at this year's Windows of Understanding exhibition in Rahway, NJ.
This unique public art project transforms "main street" spaces into spaces where our community can engage with and learn about the significant but often underrepresented social justice efforts local organizations like ours undertake.
By harnessing the universal language of art, this project promotes empathy, bridges cultural divides, and illuminates the positive strides being made by groups dedicated to social change.
We are particularly proud to be represented by the talented Griselly Goris, whose artwork not only captures the essence of our mission at Prevention Links but also embodies the spirit of community and collective endeavor.
Her piece is on display at Wholly Cow, located at 1542 Main Street, Rahway, NJ. We invite each of you to visit Wholly Cow to experience the powerful visual narrative that Griselly has created.
This inspiring initiative is made possible by the Rahway Social Justice Commission and ASquared, and our installation was unveiled on a day befitting the values we cherish โ Martin Luther King Day.
This timing serves as a poignant reminder of our ongoing commitment to justice, equality, and community support. I truly hope you take a moment to check it out. ๐จ
