Dear Bethesda SC Families,

We hope to keep your children challenged, entertained, and engaged over these difficult times ahead. Over the next few weeks, it is important that our players know that they are safe and we care about and miss them on the field. While our formal teams may be physically sidelined, our coaches are still hard at work collaborating, brainstorming, and collecting ideas to bring the Bethesda Soccer Club training to our players and their families at home.
We are working together to adapt to this new era of distance training and virtual relationships. It is important that we continue to foster our players love of the game while we support them during a very challenging time. Coaches are reaching out to you in various ways with lesson plans, virtual team meetings, and video chats with players. We want our players to know that they are still supported and a part of a greater community family here at BSC.
As coaches and administrators, we want to do everything we can to support player development, competition, and camaraderie at this time. We have been so excited to see members of our BSC family sharing their creativity and dedication in videos and photos of individual trainings and skills on social media. However, please remember to abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and your local government's recommendations for social distancing and reducing unnecessary exposure. We advise you to restrict activities to include only those members of your household and to refrain from engaging with teammates and other players at this time. Players and coaches should not be utilizing any closed field, facility, or gym for individual workouts or training of any kind.
We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of support from our staff and families as we navigate this unknown and rapidly changing landscape together. We have been planning, preparing, and experiencing this right alongside you and understand that during these times of uncertainty we are even stronger as a family. We will continue to update you weekly on Club programming and opportunities through our parent newsletter and on our social media platforms.

We look forward to when we can see one another on the field again. Until then, please stay safe and take care of each other.
