Dear Friends, Parents and Colleagues,
The spread of COVID -19 is on all our minds and we realize everyone is dealing with challenging and uncertain times.

We are closely monitoring the guidance from local, state and federal health officials on the COVID-19 threat.

Miracle Babies has suspended hospital Miracle Hours and we are postponing the launch of our transportation program. Our new program was to begin this past month providing home to hospital service for new parents. We will re-evaluate a new launch date in the coming weeks.

We are postponing our Miracle Babies 5K to Sunday, August 16th at Liberty Station. Our goal is to raise $100,000+ to purchase two more shuttles to fulfill our mission for our families.
The unique support and assistance Miracle Babies provides to families in the NICU helps them spend more time with their babies and provide breastmilk-practices that are strongly linked to improved health outcomes, shorter hospital stays and improved parent-child bonding.  We need your support to ensure every mom is united with their hospitalized newborn.

I hope to see you all on August 16th in person or virtually. Virtual walkers will be sent a race medal for supporting Miracle Babies. We encourage v irtual walkers to share their community walks on social media #miraclebabies #mb5K

I'm wishing you all health and wellness. In extraordinary times like this, may we all continue to support one another, our most vulnerable populations, and our community.

With immense respect and admiration,
Sean S. Daneshmand, MD
