An Update From the Chair of the Board of Trustees
Dear Berkeley Community,
As we begin a new school year, I am honored to serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees. As an alumnus, parent, and proud member of this community, I am grateful for the opportunity.
This year we celebrate Berkeley’s 65th anniversary—a milestone that highlights our strong foundation and bright future. Under the inspiring leadership of Interim Head of School Kim Graham Lawless, the year is off to a fantastic start!
A key priority for the Board is the search for our next Head of School. The process is well underway, led by Trustee and alumnus Chad Harrod ’95 and supported by a search committee and Carney Sandoe & Associates, a nationally recognized search firm specializing in educational leadership. In the days ahead, Chad and the committee will share more details.
Berkeley is thriving—academically, administratively, and financially—and it is our sense of community that makes this school so remarkable. Thank you for your continued partnership in sustaining and strengthening Berkeley.
