Update From Puerto Rico
Brothers,
You may have seen in the news yesterday, January 6, that the island of Puerto Rico was hit by a 6.5 magnitude earthquake. I have been in touch with
Bro. Francisco González
, director of both Colegio San José & San José Marianist Community. Bro. Francisco reports that the Brothers and their families are all doing well.
As of today, the aftershocks continue. The entire island is without power. There was no direct damage to the school. We have not yet received information regarding the status of the school retreat house located in the mountains on the other side of the island. We also continue to await a report on how the families of the students have been affected. We join our Brothers and the school community in prayer.
Thank you,
