Fr. John and Fr. Bill will both begin their terms this coming summer.
Fr. Bill Meyer will continue to be a part of the Ligustrum Marianist Community. Fr. John will be assigned to the Casa Maria Community.

As called for in the St. Mary’s Bylaws, the appointment of the Vice President for Mission and the Rector is made in consultation with the Marianist Province of the United States and confirmed by the Board of Trustees. Though not required, since 2015 the Vice President for Mission has also served as Rector. Because we have two outstanding professed Marianists with significant leadership experience, including in Marianist higher education, we are delighted that the Marianist Provincial Council and St. Mary’s Board of Trustees have approved these appointments.
Please join the Provincial Council in congratulating Fr. John and Fr. Bill on their positions and expressing our gratitude for their leadership and service to St. Mary’s University and the Province.
