As the COVID-19 crisis continues, we know that we are in unprecedented times. The way we live and how we work is rapidly evolving. We know this amount of change and fluidity can bring uncertainty. Please know, we are in this together with you.
First, let me say our hearts go out to anyone that has been impacted by the virus. To those who are sick, we send our thoughts and best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
Second, we are committed to providing the same level of service, availability and support that you expect from Appletree Quilting Center. As part of that commitment, we are working to ensure our employees who support you are safe and healthy.
After the first official death from COVID-19 here in Boone County and 24 reported cases to date, we have decided effective this Friday, March 20th to be closed at lease until April 13th. We will continue to offer our Online Ordering Services (with curbside pickup for our locals). Although the store will be officially closed during this time, we will maintain a skeleton crew at the store to keep up with the online shipping, package and mail incoming and outgoing, plus phone communication with our customers, from 10 am to 2 pm Monday – Friday.
Here are the policies we are offering:
- Appletree Quilting will be open today, March 19th with limited staff and then closed Friday, March 20th through Sunday, April 12th.
- We will have online ordering only (with the option of curbside pickup for our locals). We will have a limited staff on hand at AQC Monday – Fridays (3/20-4/10, 10 am – 2 pm) to help process the online orders, handle curbside pickups, handle shipping and receiving, and communicate with customers, teachers, and staff.
- All Classes, Block of the Months, Guide Lessons, and Events will be canceled and rescheduled if possible after Sunday April 12th. If you have registered for an activity at Appletree Quilting in the near future, you will be contacted directly.
- If you have registered for our AccuQuilt Events next week, March 27th & 28th, you will be contacted to offer you either a refund, store credit, or the option of viewing a special video of the different topics that would have be presented.
- We also plan to post regularly on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest to help keep all our special customers engaged and active during this time. Keep checking at www.AppletreeQuilting.com for daily and weekly specials. We will continue to keep you supplied with fun ideas, projects, and all the necessary supplies you might need. Let's continue to keep sewing. Our creativity will help us get through these difficult times.
For now, please note that our concern if for the health and safety of our customers and staff plus everyone's families. If we all pull together in the spirit of love and fellowship, we will get tough the bad times and live on to celebrate the love of sewing.
Please do not forget to stay in touch with all friends and family members, especially those who might be house bound with little to no family support.
