Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to write you as President of Lenape Valley Foundation’s Board of Directors. For over 25 years, Lenape Valley Foundation has held a special place in my heart, and I am honored to serve in this leadership role. The agency has had some considerable accomplishments in its 62 years of service to the community, but perhaps one of the more remarkable ones has been its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the last six months, every employee at Lenape has dedicated themselves to continuing to provide mental and behavioral health services to thousands of individuals at a time when it is needed most. This happened with a nearly overnight transition from in-person to telehealth treatment, and without interruption to the people we serve. Our staff members are truly extraordinary in their dedication and compassion. Those who have continued to work in crisis centers, emergency rooms, and residential programs are recognized as frontline heroes serving some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
As Board President, I speak on behalf of the Board of Directors and executive team in promising to respond to the different challenges that confront us. We will continue to seek new opportunities that better serve those in need of our help. Enclosed with this letter is our fiscal year Impact Statement, which provides valuable information on who we serve and last year’s accomplishments. As you will read, Lenape makes quite an impact on the Bucks County community and beyond.
I ask that you consider a gift to Lenape Valley Foundation today. Your donation will support an often-overlooked need in healthcare, especially during these unprecedented times. With your generosity, Lenape will continue to grow and offer therapy and vital services that meet the unique needs of every person seeking help.
Sincerely,
Lisa Policare
