National Volunteer Week - April 21 - 27, 2024

During National Volunteer Week 2024, we come together to recognize and celebrate the vital role played by every volunteer in the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief and Rescue community.

CBRR&R rescue volunteers are some of the most dedicated and compassionate individuals out there, selflessly giving of time, energy, and resources to help dogs in need. Whether it's fostering dogs, transporting them to different locations, or interviewing forever home applicants, dog rescue volunteers are the backbone of our rescue community. Your impact is immeasurable, and without your efforts, countless dogs would be left without the care and attention they need. Being a dog rescue volunteer takes a special kind of person, and we are incredibly grateful for every one of you.

This week, we take a moment to recognize and celebrate every volunteer and the contributions they make to help Chesapeake Bay Retrievers find their way back to healthy and loving homes across the country.

25 YEARS! WOW!

CBRR&R is celebrating our Silver Anniversary this year.

We want to give a huge thank you to all of our supporters from the past 25 years and raise funds and awareness to continue our mission for another 25 years. Keeping up with the rising costs of veterinary care is difficult, therefore, we ask for your support. Please consider giving to help care for our beloved Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.

Donate to our $25 for 25 campaign anytime throughout our program year to make a difference in the lives of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in need. Your contribution will enable us to continue assisting chessies with medical and veterinary care, prescriptions, food, and transport and more.

All donors to our $25 for 25 campaign, in any amount exceeding $25 will have their name added to our $25 for 25 list which will be posted online for public viewing, and shared on social media every week until the end of our program year!
