A Message from the President

The holidays are upon us and as we are nearing the end of a successful fall semester, I want to express my gratitude to our exceptional faculty and staff. Their continuous dedication provides invaluable support and inspiration to our students as they work toward their goals.

In November, we held two successful Open House events that attracted hundreds of prospective students. We also launched the 2023 Faculty Art Exhibition at the Wilma Daniels Gallery, hosted a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor CFCC and community veterans, and celebrated CFCC and North Carolina artists at the Portals Magazine gala. Additionally, we organized informational events such as the Manufacturing Expo and sessions on dual enrollment opportunities for Spanish-speaking families.

Spring registration is underway, and while there's sufficient time to enroll, it's important to note that classes fill quickly. Please encourage your family and friends to enroll as soon as possible. You can register online, and our academic advisors are ready to help.

This time of year, many students face financial challenges. Receiving a scholarship can mean the difference between staying in school or dropping out. I encourage you to support Cape Fear Community College as you contemplate your year-end charitable contributions. To invest in the success of CFCC students, please consider giving here.

I wish everyone a restful and joyful holiday season. May this time of year provide you an opportunity to enjoy memorable moments with your loved ones.
