A Message from the President

President Jim Morton

Dear Sea Devil Community,

Fall has arrived, and I am excited to share some updates highlighting our commitment to enhancing the services and opportunities we provide to our students, businesses, and the community.

First, I am pleased to announce that our Small Business Center and Economic and Workforce Development divisions have relocated to the G Building on the corner of N. Front Street and Walnut Street. This move is strategically designed to place these vital services in a central location, making it easier for our clients—whether they are aspiring entrepreneurs, job seekers, prospective students, or business partners—to access the resources they need. Our goal is to establish a welcoming and efficient space that promotes growth, innovation, and collaboration, and this new location will be instrumental in making that vision a reality. We are excited about the enhanced convenience this move will bring and its positive impact on the community we serve.

Additionally, I am proud to report strong enrollment numbers across all areas of our college, including Economic and Workforce Development, Continuing Education, Basic Skills, and University Transfer programs. These impressive figures reflect the increasing demand for the diverse educational opportunities we provide and highlight our community's trust in us as a leading education and training provider. Whether students seek to gain new skills, continue their education, or transfer to a four-year university, they find value and success through our programs. This momentum reflects our employees' hard work and dedication, strengthening our commitment to assisting every student on their educational journey.

Thank you for your continued support as we evolve and grow. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our students and the broader community. I look forward to the great things we will achieve in the months ahead.
