Happy October, Everyone! Hope you are enjoying the great weather.

First, I would like to thank those of you who are volunteering to help out on Sundays. We have seen more people signing up to greet, usher and help with fellowship hour. Especially greeters...always great to have someone welcoming visitors and new folks.

Next, thank you to everyone who attended our first Community Conversation of the year. We had some great questions (and hopefully answers), as well as some excellent comments that the board will be following up on. Hopefully, you took away a better understanding of our financial issues. I’m sorry we weren’t able to spend more time on our Transition Plan work, but clearly the topic of finances needed focus, and my goal of finishing by 12:00 blew up. Fewer topics for future meetings...lesson learned.

This brings me to a question for you: what topic(s) would you like to hear about? Do you have ideas or concerns you would like to share? Clearly, the board can continue to come up with ideas, but we want to ensure we address any questions and concerns you have.
