Dear Barrington 220 community,

As you've likely heard, Monday evening we began a phone survey throughout the district as part of our six month referendum community engagement process. This survey is important in order to gather your feedback on many of the projects the community is considering as we look at the future of our schools.

Please complete the entire survey, as your feedback will help determine our plan for the future. You will receive phone calls from (224) 848-5297. To take the survey you simply need to answer the call and participate until the end. Your response will not count unless you complete the entire survey.

You are also welcome to call (224) 848-5297 at any time to participate at your convenience by Saturday, March 9.

In addition to the phone survey, we are kicking off community engagement meetings this week where you can provide your opinions to help us determine a plan for the future. These meetings will feature a presentation, survey, and an opportunity for you to ask questions. They are open to the public. Please note that each meeting will have the same agenda.

We hope you will attend one of these sessions:

  • Wednesday, March 6: 6pm @ BMS-Prairie Campus (Library)
  • Saturday, March 9: 10am @ BHS Front Atrium (Lower Level)
  • Monday, March 11: 6pm @ Arnett C. Lines Elementary (Library)
  • Thursday, March 14: 6pm via Zoom (Click here to register for the Zoom)

If you are unable to attend any of the meetings, you can still participate by viewing this presentation and completing this feedback form at the end. The feedback form will remain active on our community engagement website through next Friday, March 15.

Thank you for participating in our community engagement process. Together, we will develop a community-driven plan for how we can ensure that all Barrington 220 students have access to the quality education they deserve.
