Dear friends,  

On Thursday, Oct. 26, the Next-to-New Board of Directors voted to invite Interim Director of Next-to-New Mr. Robert Reid, to become the permanent Executive Director. We are thrilled to announce that he said yes!

Robert joined us as interim director at the beginning of August 2023. In that brief time Robert has built strong relationships with the staff, volunteers, consignors and customers of Next-to-New. Bringing years of retail experience and management to the table, he has stepped into this role naturally and effectively. Please join us as we welcome Robert to our community permanently.

The future of Next-to-New is bright, and Rob, joining with our amazing staff and volunteers, promise to make it so!

I would be hard pressed to find a better description of my enthusiasm for this role than the one Fr. Chuck provided.

My wife Rita and I have been attending St. David's over the course of my interim position and would like to become permanent members, growing in our relationship with God and St. David's parishioners.

I'm excited to see what the future holds!
