This Community Connections Workshop will explore what neighborhood organizations are doing when 'building community' and its impact on the neighborhood. When building community, you are increasing the visibility and influence of your organization and there is a wide variety of practices that can be used for community building from simple activities like a book club to larger scale efforts such as National Night Out events.
