Dear APAP Members and Colleagues,

First of all, I hope this finds you and yours well and safe.

Although we are still in the early stages of the pandemic and the associated economic impacts, this week's national dialogue about when to reopen has many of us thinking ahead and contemplating what the coming months and years in the performing arts might look like, based on what we know now.

While assessments on when to reopen performance venues and reschedule live events vary greatly by geographic location, physical space, event size and attendee population, we can all agree that safety comes first.

Please join us for our next webinar, " Reopening the Performing Arts: Event Safety in the COVID-19 Era " next Tuesday, May 19 at 3 p.m. (EDT) , presented by the Alliance for Performing Arts Conferences (APAC).

Registration is limited to the first 1000 people. However, you can also watch the event live on APAP's Facebook page at the time of the event.
In this webinar, our panel of experts will explore:

  • How to determine when to reopen
  • How to communicate with audiences
  • How to ensure a sanitized venue
  • Most importantly, all of the considerations to keep everyone safe, from front-of-house to back stage.

This webinar is based the recently-released Event Safety Alliance Reopening Guide . Please review it and share it widely, and then join us for this essential conversation.

As always, we encourage you to visit the many resources on our frequently updated COVID-19 resource page and our dedicated  government relief page .

We are here for you. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
