Dear APAP Members and Colleagues,

First of all, we hope you are safe and well.

APAP understands how difficult this time is for you and across all corners of the performing arts industry. During this crisis and through the recovery, we are here to serve you.

Performing arts professionals are stronger together. And together we will build the post-COVID-19 future of the performing arts. APAP staff have been working hard to provide vital information and resources to help you manage this time of crisis.

Your membership is very important to us. Our field has been significantly impacted by the pandemic, and we are all fighting for survival. Like all arts organizations, APAP itself is not immune to the impacts of this crisis. Membership dues are a key source of support for APAP.

At the same time, we believe that no member should be left behind during this time. Therefore, APAP is offering the following membership renewal options from now through June 2021:

• Pay your regular annual membership dues in full, if you are able.
• Pay 50% of your regular annual membership dues.
• Pay annual base dues of $300.

If none of the options outlined above meet your needs, please contact our membership team, and we will work with you to maintain your membership. Membership Director Sue Noseworthy ( [email protected] or 202.207.3841) and Senior Membership Associate Kisha Shorter ( [email protected] or 202.207.3856) are ready and available to assist you.

Of course, we understand that some of you are due to renew your membership soon, and others will be renewing in a few months. Thank you to the many of you who have already renewed your membership this year. Rest assured, this membership program will run through June 2021, so each member will receive an equal opportunity for relief .

Lastly, during ordinary times, at this time of year, we would have already invited you to register for the January conference. While there is a lot of uncertainty right now, one thing that is certain is that APAP will have a conference of some kind in January 2021. Will we have a dynamic meeting online? Most certainly. Will there be an in-person convening in New York City for a small group to safely gather? We are actively exploring if this is possible. We will update you as soon as we have more information.

We want you here, and we are here for you.
