Dear Lourdes Volunteers Family,
First, a huge thank you for helping us EXCEED the Hearth portion of our year-end matching funds campaign. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $70,000, $65,000 of which was matched, for a total year-end operations campaign of $135,000! This will help our Apostolate start out 2024 in a strong position to continue to build on the great work being done in the name of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Secondly, I'd like to announce an update for the Home portion of our campaign. We have been greatly blessed by generous donors who have agreed to match up to $225,000 in funds donated to Guadalupe House, our home in Lourdes that we are in the process of renovating with a goal of opening in 2025. It is a beautiful home that will welcome many people including volunteers as well as special retreats for people who have experienced trauma in their lives. Guadalupe House will also serve as an important base of operations for our ministry in Lourdes. The renovation plans are extensive and will require us to raise enough to match all the funds pledged. It truly is an exciting time in the history of our apostolate!
Our generous benefactors have extended the limited time of matching gifts from February 11th to the Feast of St. Bernadette on April 16th. All donations are matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact!
