Dear Colleagues,
I hope you have had a great start to the Spring 2025 semester. It has been a pleasure to see you around campus at our events, including our inaugural Homecoming 2025, and the groundbreaking for our Softball/Track & Field complex. These events each represent milestones for us, and I look forward to our continued progress.
At Texas A&M University-San Antonio, we are building a strong foundation for the generations who will follow. We have a remarkable opportunity to elevate our University in many ways. To do this successfully requires a strong shared vision—and to achieve that, we need a clear and collaborative strategic plan. The University is due to begin the development of a new plan and to start this process, I hosted a series of retreats with campus leaders, including representatives from Faculty Senate and Staff Council, during which we identified five key goals and coinciding objectives.
Our next step is to host town halls to obtain faculty and staff input for each goal. To maximize your ability to provide feedback on the ones that interest you, each goal will have two town halls. I invite you to attend any of the below town halls and provide your feedback to help us build our strategic plan. You are critical to our long-term success, and this plan only succeeds if it is built for and by our A&M-San Antonio community.
