M'KOR MAIL

L'dor vador nagid godlecha
L'dor vador... we protect this chain
From generation to generation
L'dor vador, these lips will praise Your name

Friday night, during our Erev Shabbat service (8:00 pm), we will be celebrating YOU - every member of our synagogue family, whether you are a new member or a founding member (or joined us any year in between)!

This congregation, this community, has been the sacred space where so many of you have shared and experienced some of the most important moments in your life and in the life of your family. And so, Friday evening, we, in partnership with our Membership Committee, look forward to welcoming you "home" for Shabbat as we celebrate our Family of Families, each of you a link in the chain of our M'kor Shalom tradition leading us into the years to come. Our Choir will join us, and, afterwards, we hope you'll plan to stick around and enjoy our dessert oneg.

Friday evening is also our last Tot Shabbat of the school year. Tot Shabbat begins at 6:15 pm in the Sanctuary (dinner at 5:30 pm).

Shabbat morning, Torah Study begins at 9:00 am, followed by Spice Up Your Judaism at 10:30 am led by Carl Viniar. And our Shabbat Morning Service begins at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary, as we celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of Brandon Folbaum.

And, tonight (Wednesday, 7:00 pm), please join us for our Annual Meeting. We will vote in our new Officers and Board of Trustees, celebrate our Service Award winner Mark Pinzur, hear the "State of the Shul," and, of course, get to watch our not-to-be-missed Year In Review video produced by the one and only Steve Janove!

So many memories in the making! Come join us!

L'shalom,

Rabbi Jennifer L. Frenkel

If you have the name of someone you would like to have included in our Healing Prayer (Mi Shebeirach) that is recited at our Shabbat services, please let us know by noon each Friday so we can give the name to the rabbis.
