Dear Families,
I hope you all were able to join your children's Parent Preview this week. Please remember each preview session was recorded, and you can get the link for the recorded session from your child's current teacher, or from Mr. Wootton -
A few weeks back, we asked for your insights on how remote learning is going. Your survey responses were so valuable for teachers and administrators, as we learned what was working and what needed adjustment. Now, we ask you to reflect on the entire year of learning for your children by filling out our annual survey . Each year, we learn from your comments and suggestions, as we are always looking to grow and evolve as a team of adults. You may access the survey monkey link for the next two weeks through my weekly message as well as the weekly newsletters from your child's teacher. Thank you for your time.
Finally, I write to share some exciting happenings on campus. While it remains a very quiet campus, Mr. Ritter has graciously taken on a lot of the work on the school grounds, as Mr. Herforth and Mr. Maselli team up inside on some major projects we have wanted to do for quite some time. With children on campus during the school year and the summer months, it is tough to tackle some of our major jobs on the interior. As I type, the first through third grade rooms are each having the rugs pulled up, and those three rooms along with the entire hallway of the lower school are being re-tiled. Once those are complete, the common space and the Beginner room will be next. By the end of the summer, the plan is for the entire building to have new tile - a full face lift.
Enjoy what looks like real spring weather with warm temperatures predicted for the next 10 days.
Take good care and please don't hesitate to be in touch with any questions.
