Dear Families,

Thanks to all who sent in your children's contracts this week. I'll be following up with families for whom contracts are outstanding, but please don't hesitate to call me with any questions you may have.

Tonight our sixth through ninth graders will have their formal dance with pizza kits being delivered to their homes from Ramunto's, as they put the finishing touches on their duct tape outfits and prepare for dancing to a wonderful list of songs created by student DJ's and our own Karl Mullen. Of course, this is all in the comfort of their homes, but there has been quite an effort to make it a special night for all, and I know our students will make the most of this wonderful evening, as they do each day while living the Pine Cobble pillars during this challenging time.

I am down to fewer than five families still to visit, and this week I traveled to some of the farthest away places. What a joy it has been seeing our students in their own settings and having a real and authentic catch up. Thank you students and families for welcoming my visits.

You'll receive a link for Flip Flop day early next week from your child's teacher, if you have not already. It will be on June 5th - one week from today. Your child will have a chance to visit with their next year's teacher and hear a bit about what is in store for their learning.

Also, look for information in next week's Messenger for Recognition Day on June 11th. Graduation on June 12th will be live streamed for our community. We have been able to get the approval to have our eighth and ninth grade families, one household at a time, come to campus on the 12th to receive their diplomas and walk down memory lane. You'll get more information soon about how to join into the live stream on the 12th.

One of our alumnae, Cate Byrne '14, a current student at New England Conservatory in Boston will be playing three violin pieces for us during a virtual event - Pine Cobble Strong - this coming Thursday, June 4th. Please follow the link in the invitation that came through this week. More reminders will follow next week, so the invite and link are easy to access in your inbox. You won't want to miss it - Cate is a beautiful violinist.

I wanted to share the annual survey one more time. We appreciate those who have filled it out already. If time allows, please take a few minutes to fill this out, as we learn so much from your insights.

I hope you are able to get out and make the most of all that mother nature has to offer us this weekend.

Take good care,

Sue
