Dear Community Members,
We have recently received many inquiries about the status of the Thurston County Food Bank, and I want to reassure you that we are here and ready to serve.
Many families and individuals are experiencing food insecurity for the first time. The federal shutdown has affected incomes as well as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) benefits, making this a difficult time for many in our community. If you or someone you know needs food assistance, please know that our network of food pantries and satellites are open and available. If you are new to the food bank, please visit our website to find a full list of locations and hours, as well as helpful tips.

At each pantry, our client advocate team is ready to help individuals and families, not only access food, but also connect with other community resources that may offer additional support during this challenging time.
If you are in a position to help, we welcome your support. Financial contributions allow us to purchase the specific foods our community needs most. Volunteering your time in our warehouse or pantries is another powerful way to make a difference. Learn more about how you can help here:
