Austin AGC Members,
With the American and global focus on COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and its impact on our work and personal lives, the Austin AGC would like to share with you industry information and resources that can be helpful to you, your employees and your clients.

First, the AGC of America recently provided information on their website here about Coronavirus.  Also, AGC's national President Steve Sandherr spoke directly yesterday with the US Department of Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia on this issue.  We expect additional information and guidance from the AGC of America soon and will share it with you when available.

Second, Austin AGC Safety Committee member Mark Gaskamp, Senior Vice President with Marsh Wortham, shared with us a Risk Management Bulletin from his firm that provides additional information and resources your company can use regarding insurance and OSHA related issues.

Last, below are links to additional resources outlining precautions everyone can take to minimize the spread of coronavirus.  We urge members to implement the CDC's recommendations as much as possible to minimize the chance of infection.

Please know that the Austin AGC, in partnership with other AGC Chapters in Texas and the AGC of America, is monitoring this issue closely and we will provide additional resources and guidance as they become available.

In the meantime, both myself and Chapter Safety Director Michael Welvaert are available at any time to help you and your company address coronavirus issues.  Do not hesitate to contact us.
