Dear Lakeside Community,

Get ready to immerse yourself in enriching summer experiences at Lakeside. With new genres of music, intriguing life-long learning topics, inspiring messages from preachers, and fun on the courts and waterfront, the 152nd Chautauqua season is sure to spark imagination, creativity and renewal of the soul.

Lakeside is life-changing and creates a pause that's needed in our world today. As we gear up for the summer, we keep our mission at the forefront: To enrich the quality of life for all people, to foster traditional Christian values, and to nurture relationships through opportunities for renewal and growth… spiritually, intellectually, culturally and physically… while preserving Lakeside’s heritage.

We're thankful for this sacred place and the supportive ways you ensure Lakeside continues for decades to come. In 2025, we're putting an emphasis on hospitality and genuine care and are excited to share over 3,000 Chautauqua experiences with you this summer.

Since early fall, Lakeside and the Board of Directors have worked collaboratively to prepare the budget for the coming year. We've gathered your feedback from Presidential Coffee Chats, gatherings and front porch conversations and used the collective insights to thoughtfully prepare the budget and our 2025 Admission & Parking Fees.

As you purchase passes, don't forget to make reservations for your lodging. Now through December 26, you can book your summer hotel reservations at the Fountain Inn and Hotel Lakeside and receive 15% off your stay. Hotel Lakeside is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this summer, so don't wait! We'll be announcing our Hotel Family Packages soon for additional savings.

Special thanks to the Bed & Breakfasts and Guesthouses who provide warm hospitality and are already taking reservations. Another lodging option families may consider are our newly refreshed cabins in South Lakeside. Cottage rentals will go online soon so families staying for the week can plan their vacation.

As we launch our 2025 Admission & Parking Fees and online passes, we've set up a digital comment card to share questions or comments. We'll be checking these regularly and the team will be in touch.

I hope to see you at one of our upcoming Gatherings and at Lakeside this summer!

With Gratitude,

Charles Allen

Youth & Child Passes

  • We’ve been listening to your feedback about ensuring Lakeside remains accessible for families. Pricing for Youth and Child Passes did not increase.
  • Children ages 4 & under and guests ages 90 & older receive free admission.
  • Child Passes (ages 5-12): Pricing remains the same as the last three years, $5 per child.
  • Youth Passes (ages 13-21): Pricing remains the same as last year, $18 per youth.

Adult Passes

  • We listened to your feedback and simplified the pricing of Adult Passes on weekdays and weekends.
  • Adult Weekday Passes (Monday-Thursday) throughout the entire season are $33 per adult*.
  • Adult Weekend Passes (Friday-Sunday) throughout the entire season are $39 per adult*.

*Preservation Fee: The Preservation Fee will continue at the price of $2 per adult, per pass if purchased online or $3 per adult, per pass if purchased at the gate. The Preservation Fee only applies to Adult Weekday, Weekend and Weekly Passes. It does not apply to Season Chautauqua Passes or Youth and Child Passes. This fee is allocated to the preservation and maintenance of our parks, grounds and historic buildings. The money collected from this year will help refresh the Hotel Lakeside lobby in 2026.

Partial Day Pass: The Partial Day Pass remains 4 hours in length and is $10 per person. This pass is not valid at Hoover Auditorium or the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus Pool and Wellness Center, and an Auto Pass is not included. This pass is available for purchase at the gates upon entry and must be purchased before 7 p.m.

Exclusive Passes at the Gate: Please review the website for details about our Shopping/Dining Pass and other short-term passes.

Auto Passes: Safety is our number one priority, and we continue to listen to your concerns about the number of vehicles on our streets. Therefore, we have increased the price of the Inside the Gates Auto Pass to $17.50 per day to decrease the number of vehicles on the grounds. We're encouraging guests to park in the South Gate and Danbury School Parking Lots to keep traffic lighter and children and families safe.

Pricing for these two lots remains the same as last year, with the South Gate Lot at $8 per day and nearby Danbury School Lot at $3 per day. Please note that the Danbury School Auto Pass can be purchased at the gates only, not online.

Season Passes: Season Passes continue to offer the most value for those visiting Lakeside frequently throughout the Chautauqua season (May 23-Sept. 1, 2025). This year, Lakeside is launching new Season Passes:

  • Adult Season Pass: Adult pass for the whole summer.
  • NEW Adult Leaseholder Season Pass: Lakeside recognizes that Leaseholders, also known as cottage owners, are paying assessments and continuing to steward and care for their cottages as part of the Lakeside community. We've created a Season Pass to help provide a discount to Leaseholders. Island View owners and season-long Campground residents are included in this discount. To purchase an Adult Leaseholder Season Pass, individuals must provide their Lakeside address when purchasing. Per each Lakeside address, Leaseholders can purchase a maximum of 10 Adult Leaseholder Season Passes in one transaction only.
  • NEW Adult Weekender Season Pass: We heard from many Lakesiders about how individuals are only able to visit on the weekends. To ease access, we've added an Adult Weekender Season Pass. This pass is valid Fridays-Sundays until 11:59 p.m. Sunday from May 23-Aug. 31, 2025. Please note guests will be charged the price of an Adult Weekday Pass if they leave after the 11:59 p.m. Sunday expiration.
