Hello St. Paul’s Family!

And a very happy Eastertide as well. I hope that this note finds you well and safe during this odd time in our lives. Thanks to all of you who have tuned into our services via Facebook Live. It is so encouraging to hear your thoughts as we worship together the best way possible.

As we walk this journey together we are constantly monitoring the pandemic situation and how to respond as a faith-based community. So, with input and support from the vestry I have decided that we will continue our current worshiping system, with no attended services through Sunday, May 17. This decision includes any scheduled church meetings as well.

Even though our community is moving towards a “reopening” of many businesses I am simply not convinced it is the prudent thing for the church to do right now. It is certainly my prayer that we will be able to gather as a church family very soon.

Please know that the staff is here for you. We are still working full time and if you need us for anything please don’t hesitate to give us a call. Also, we continue to offer church services, Bible studies, and church meetings via Zoom. Look for that schedule on our website or in News from the Pews.

Please continue to pray for those affected by this virus and for those who are working so bravely to stem this pandemic. Maybe call someone that may be alone during this time and remain them that they are not forgotten. We will get through this together, surrounded by our loving God. The words the psalmist gave us this past Sunday still rings true:

Protect me, O God, for I take refuge in you; I have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, my good above all other”

Take care of yourself and others around you. And may God bless you and our church home, St. Paul’s.
