Dear Harvest Christian Academy and Westminster Christian School Families,

As HCA and WCS begin the new school year united as one school across two campuses, much has been happening, and the School Board wants to ensure that everyone remains well-informed.  

Please view this email from Harvest Bible Chapel leadership about the closing of the sale of the Elgin campus to Acts 2 Network. Although there has been a change in ownership of the property, the day-to-day operations on the HCA campus will not change, as space usage has been secured in a lease agreement with Acts 2. We have added some specific information about our sharing of space on our Partnership FAQ page.

The Board continues to meet often, focusing on developing governance documents and structures, receiving comprehensive updates on school operations and programs, and overseeing the financial status of operating as one school across two campuses.

In addition, the Board continues to prayerfully and diligently explore various options of space usage and plans toward property ownership to ensure that academic and extracurricular space is sufficient for both our current and future needs. To make informed and wise decisions, the Board has contacted experts in a variety of fields to assess these needs. These assessments will take time, but we serve a God who always has perfect timing and a perfect plan. The Board will continue to pursue and discern God’s leading for each step and will obediently follow when called! As we are able, we will share updates.
