It has been a special time of year at Matthews House Hospice. We have had 2 very successful events occur, our Annual Golf Tournament and Giving Hearts Gala. Both were sold out well in advance and there were many new sponsors and donors attending each event. Record amounts of donations resulted in raising over $114,000 at Golf and over $365,000 at Gala. At Matthews House, we are very grateful for the commitment and dedication of our donors. Without you, Matthews House would not be what it is. Please accept the sincere thanks of all the residents and clients we serve and their families and friends for helping make Matthews House the place it is. In a recent inpatient satisfaction survey in 2 of 6 areas surveyed, families rated Matthews House care and service at 100% and above the provincial average in the other 4 categories. Thank you for helping us achieve this.

At Matthews House Hospice we appreciate the dedicated support of Canadian Tire Alliston. Brad and Nancy O’Neill are champions of our community. Whether it is supporting our hospice programs and services or other local organizations, we can count on them to be one of our biggest cheerleaders.
"When you come across an organization that means so much to a community, one that is run by great staff and countless generous volunteers, you are inspired to be involved. It is because of this that Matthews House Hospice is one of our local charities of choice. When my wife Nancy and I moved to the Alliston area 4 years ago it was for several reasons. The location, the size, the landscape, were all contributing factors, however, one factor that stood out was the sense of community that people have. We’ve lived in several places across the country that did not have a Palliative facility, let alone their own Hospital. We are fortunate to have both. This is a great community, with excellent resources, and it is our hope that everyone contributes in some form to keep it that way." - Brad O'Neill, Owner of Canadian Tire Alliston
