Alternative Gift Giving

What do you give the person who has everything? Wrap up a gift that will have impact. Family and friends will be touched to know that the “alternative gift” they have received will change lives far and near. DCPC is providing cards for those who wish to give alternative gifts through the church. This year we are supporting our partners at the Sigona Presbyterian Academy in Kenya and at Charlotte's Habitat for Humanity. Click here to learn more or visit the Cafe area near the Sanctuary entrance for more information.

Holiday Cookies Can you bake some sugar cookies for our Advent Dinner? We are looking for a few more dozen sugar cookies. They don't have to be in holiday shapes! We just need them by 4:00 p.m.. on December 21. Sign up here to help. Thank you!

Thank you to the over 250 households who have made an estimate of giving for 2026. You can make your estimate online at dcpc.org or bring a card to the church office. Cards can be found in the Narthex and in the Burris Gathering Space.

Did you know you can prepay your 2026 giving? And that you can prepay for 2026, or give in 2025, directly with a gift of stock or a distribution from your IRA (if you meet certain qualifications)? There are some distinct tax advantages to giving stock or directly from your IRA. Contact Trish Jones in our office for help with these gifts. She can be reached at (704) 892 5641 or pjones@dcpc.org

From the Endowment Committee Let’s support DCPC’s financial health and sustainability well into the future! Why should we do it? It is right for us to share the gifts we have received from God and to enable DCPC to continue to do God’s work in our congregation, community and the world. As is shared in the New Testament: “For those who are blessed, much is expected.” How should we do it? Make a current or legacy gift to The Endowment Fund of Davidson College Presbyterian Church. How can I find more information? Visit https://www.dcpc.org/legacy-giving for more information, or contact Diana Ruso at druso@dcpc.org, and a member of the Endowment Committee will be in touch with you.
