A Misty Place
Full of Fire

( You have probably read this before,
but they will appreciate the reminder.)

[The next night] I saw my Guardian Angel,
who ordered me to follow him.
In a moment I was in a misty place full of fire
in which there was a great crowd of suffering souls. They were praying fervently,
but to no avail, for themselves;
only we can come to their aid.
The flames which were burning them
did not touch me at all.
My Guardian Angel did not leave me for an instant.
I asked these souls what their greatest suffering was. They answered me in one voice
that their greatest torment was longing for God.
I saw Our Lady visiting the souls in Purgatory.
The souls call her “The Star of the Sea.”
She brings them refreshment.
[I heard an interior voice] which said,
My mercy does not want this,
but justice demands it. (#20)

Welcoming Our New Postulant
We recently welcomed back an old friend to our Community: Raymundo Guemes from Monterrey, Mexico. Some of you who have known us from our earliest days may remember Raymundo. He joined us while we were still living in south Texas and then traveled with us to New Braunfels where he lived with us for a year. In his professional life, Raymundo is a civil engineer, responsible for some very big construction projects. Unfortunately, his work experience damaged his hearing to a significant degree and this made learning English much more difficult. After a year in the US he returned to Mexico, but has always remained in touch with us.

This fall Raymundo returned to us with the intention of entering the Community. On October 15, he officially became a postulant. Please keep Raymundo and his vocation in your prayers.

In response to requests that we make giving to the Mission easier for people who don't carry cash, we have initiated a new credit card kiosk. It is located at the foot of road to the Chapel.
All donations, large or small are appreciated and put to immediate good use!

The Mission depends entirely on donations in order to carry out our ministry. We do not receive financial support from the Archdiocese.
Please pray to see if God wants you to help support His Mission of Divine Mercy.
