to the Forefront:
Akathisia Awareness Grows
We didn't want July to end without sharing a month of meaningful progress—and with Prescribed Harm Awareness Day observed yesterday, the timing feels especially fitting.
Honoring Those We've Lost
Around the world, people gathered yesterday for picnics and talks to remember those we’ve lost and support those still suffering from medication-induced harm. From the UK to the US, France, Canada, and the Netherlands, these annual events keep those voices and experiences in view.

Two New Episodes, One Important Conversation
This month we released two episodes of the Akathisia Stories podcast. The first features MISSD founder Wendy Dolin and director Jenna Sachman reflecting on MISSD’s journey since the loss of Stewart Dolin 16 years ago. The second is an interview with Katinka Blackford Newman, an award-winning filmmaker, author, and founder of Antidepressant Risks.
